Wow, I just realized I didn't post anything in the last 2+ years. Time flies! Just want to report that Janette got her mid-term report card. She got excellent results. She got 14 A and 1 B. Way to go!

Janette won first place in grade 3 mathematics

Janette had won the first place in mathematics in the Saturday school. She was surprised because her teacher did not call us the night before. I did not know until Janette told us after school. What a pity that I could not take a picture of Janette receiving the trophy.

Janette gets into gifted program

I am very happy to announce Janette gets into York Region's gifted program. The selection process was not simple. In stage 1, all grade 3 students wrote a test first. A few of them were selected to proceed to stage 2. In stage 2, they attended an one-on-one meeting with a psychologist. Janette has passed the two stages successfully. She will go to Roy H Crosby public school to study grade 4 in September 2007.

We bought Janette a Wii console as a reward.

Janette, I am very proud of you. Way to go!
